If doing both GS’s then I’d definitely get a few seasonal choices in Paris and opt for the grand tasting of his signatures in Vegas.

I’m rather certain the complementary cheeses were due to my meeting Franck, but we paid for the bird. Guy Savoy is a “YES” kind of restaurant – IE, you ask and the answer is yes. E-mail them, request the bird – you’ll not regret that choice and rest assured they will take GREAT care of you.

Another amazing, mouth-watering blog–thank you! We also have 110E lunch reservations on 9/27/11. But having read your divine “chicken” description, I’m re-thinking my eating strategy now. Was this special bird request accommodated because of your connection in Vegas, or do you think this something that I could also request sans connection? Your opinion is greatly appreciated. It was sublime. I had the artichoke soup, the veal, cheeses and two half serves of dessert. Husband had the pea dish (wow!) the lamb (poor little thing died very young) and the strawberries done about 5 ways.
Service was friendly and impeccable, an excellent Chablis, a glass of dessert wine. E700 and worth every cent. You can go back!

We are booked for tomorrow night (15/6/2011) a return visit after 9 years. I have been worried that we might not be as thrilled as we were on the first visit. Your concluding remarks are just what made us want to risk a return. The best night of food based entertainment ever. Lets hope it is as good tomorrow.
