HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand\" id=\"BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5585051489946877858\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/-2Gh20qfSKxE\/TYIWvT6Mv6I\/AAAAAAAAIUc\/tJycrTPHlzc\/s320\/029%2B-%2BBouley%2B%25282%2529.JPG\" \/><\/noscript><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\" class=\"MsoNoSpacing\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri;\"><\/span> <\/p>\n<p style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\" class=\"MsoNoSpacing\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri;\">I\u2019ll admit I was skeptical \u2013 I\u2019d heard negative comments from a pair of trusted palates that the restaurant was old and tired \u2013 a relic resting on past glory despite the new location and positive reviews from Bruni and Michelin \u2013 it was actually these comments that had kept the Bouley off my agenda on previous visits to <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = \"urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags\" \/><st1:city st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">Manhattan<\/st1:place><\/st1:City>.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes\">  <\/span>With that noted, aside from the aforementioned thoughts there were others that urged me to go \u2013 another trusted gourmand and also my dining partner from the night before at Corton who considers it one of her very favorite restaurants in the city.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes\">  <\/span>Exploring the rumor that Chef Bouley was back in the kitchen and everything was firing on all cylinders a quick e-mail only days before my departure for New York confirmed that the Chef would indeed be there for Saturday lunch service and that although they were full for later seatings a table for one could certainly be accommodated if a 12:45 reservation would suffice.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\" class=\"MsoNoSpacing\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri;\"><\/span> <\/p>\n<p style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\" class=\"MsoNoSpacing\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/-wM7b19uwXN0\/TYIWv-LD7CI\/AAAAAAAAIUk\/hfs4x3QfnHs\/s1600\/029%2B-%2BBouley%2B%25284%2529.JPG\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"WIDTH: 320px; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand\" id=\"BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5585051501291891746\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/-wM7b19uwXN0\/TYIWv-LD7CI\/AAAAAAAAIUk\/hfs4x3QfnHs\/s320\/029%2B-%2BBouley%2B%25284%2529.JPG\" \/><\/noscript><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\" class=\"MsoNoSpacing\">\n<p style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\" class=\"MsoNoSpacing\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri;\">With meetings out of the way and a quick stop at Bloomingdales my walk south would be brisk \u2013 the sun was out for what seemed like the first time in months and being just before noon the streets were bustling\u2026the scene was everything I love about New York (save for the odd folks dressed as Elmo.)<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes\">  <\/span>Making good time and arriving at the easily missed location just before 12:30 I entered a foyer almost too grand to be true \u2013 hundreds of fresh apples lining one wall, hundreds of ornate flowers lining the other \u2013 the smell intoxicating.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes\">  <\/span>Greeted by the hostess my reservation was confirmed and I was told my table was being readied if I\u2019d like to take a seat and wait; it would be a mere 5 minutes before I was led through the dining room to my two top in the back \u2013 every other table in the restaurant full.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\" class=\"MsoNoSpacing\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri;\"><\/span> <\/p>\n<p style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\" class=\"MsoNoSpacing\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/-zGvimmlWRT0\/TYIWwDLHPQI\/AAAAAAAAIUs\/paFvSo9Jlzc\/s1600\/029%2B-%2BBouley%2B%25288%2529.JPG\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"WIDTH: 240px; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand\" id=\"BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5585051502634286338\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/-zGvimmlWRT0\/TYIWwDLHPQI\/AAAAAAAAIUs\/paFvSo9Jlzc\/s320\/029%2B-%2BBouley%2B%25288%2529.JPG\" \/><\/noscript><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\" class=\"MsoNoSpacing\">\n<p style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\" class=\"MsoNoSpacing\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri;\">With a heavily padded chair that could have likely supported two beneath me and thickly linened table, flowers, and silver before me the scene at Bouley is certainly one to behold \u2013 it is beautiful and the floral patterns dominating the room from chandelier to wallpaper to floor strike a safe balance between ornate and ostentatious, no small feat.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes\">  <\/span>Opting for iced water and against wine I would next be greeted by my server, a man named Marcellin who would not only provide his contact information at the end of the meal, but would also lead one of the top five service teams I\u2019ve experienced in Manhattan \u2013 to say the least I was never left wanting for anything.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes\">  <\/span>With the menu presented and my selections from the 4-course prix fixe confirmed along with an added supplement I asked to make sure photos were allowed\u2026what followed, in my opinion, was near perfection.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\" class=\"MsoNoSpacing\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri;\"><\/span> <\/p>\n<p style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\" class=\"MsoNoSpacing\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/-aoP4d-qasSU\/TYIWw26r1OI\/AAAAAAAAIU0\/SSe50WPsiUQ\/s1600\/029%2B-%2BBouley%2B%252810%2529.JPG\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"WIDTH: 320px; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand\" id=\"BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5585051516524025058\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/-aoP4d-qasSU\/TYIWw26r1OI\/AAAAAAAAIU0\/SSe50WPsiUQ\/s320\/029%2B-%2BBouley%2B%252810%2529.JPG\" \/><\/noscript><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\" class=\"MsoNoSpacing\">\n<p style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\" class=\"MsoNoSpacing\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri;\">Kicking things off, the amuse for the afternoon would be a Roasted Pumpkin Soup with Ricotta Cheese and Roasted Chestnuts \u2013 a creamy potage balancing the natural sweetness of the pumpkin with the mellow ricotta and smoky chestnuts.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes\">  <\/span>Tasty albeit somewhat conventional the portion was surprisingly large for an amuse \u2013 I\u2019ve certainly received smaller \u201ccups\u201d of soup at a number of restaurants.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\" class=\"MsoNoSpacing\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri;\"><\/span> <\/p>\n<p style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\" class=\"MsoNoSpacing\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/-8Yv-DdHND44\/TYIWxaTB8aI\/AAAAAAAAIU8\/riey6kzMbDI\/s1600\/029%2B-%2BBouley%2B%252811%2529.JPG\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"WIDTH: 320px; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand\" id=\"BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5585051526021378466\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/-8Yv-DdHND44\/TYIWxaTB8aI\/AAAAAAAAIU8\/riey6kzMbDI\/s320\/029%2B-%2BBouley%2B%252811%2529.JPG\" \/><\/noscript><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\" class=\"MsoNoSpacing\">\n<p style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\" class=\"MsoNoSpacing\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri;\">Following the soup one of the most impressive bread services I\u2019ve experienced in a restaurant began \u2013 I guess it doesn\u2019t hurt to have your own bakery.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes\">  <\/span>Beginning first with an apple raisin roll and flaxseed baguette that were offered as a warm pair to every table, the rest of the meal would be a revolving door of flavors that changed nearly every time the friendly and gracious bread man passed through the room.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes\">  <\/span>With a semi-sweet butter and fine sea salt on the table the selections I remember out of the dozen offered included Black Currant-Anise, Walnut Saffron, Fig, Olive, Pistachio, Garlic Focaccia, Miche, and a warm Brioche.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes\">  <\/span>Needless to say I sampled a few too many.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\" class=\"MsoNoSpacing\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri;\"><\/span> <\/p>\n<p style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\" class=\"MsoNoSpacing\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/-K3l74mD7d34\/TYIXmRtQwWI\/AAAAAAAAIVE\/cm_QxPQPOL0\/s1600\/029%2B-%2BBouley%2B%252814%2529.JPG\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"WIDTH: 240px; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand\" id=\"BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5585052443606324498\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/-HTk7LsfwRXI\/TYIXm0kVFRI\/AAAAAAAAIVM\/0UYkwxV2icA\/s320\/029%2B-%2BBouley%2B%252816%2529.JPG\" \/><\/noscript><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\" class=\"MsoNoSpacing\">\n<p style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\" class=\"MsoNoSpacing\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri;\">Beginning the 5-course (or so I thought) $45 prix fixe my first course would be Carpaccio of Kampachi, Young Big Eye Tuna, and Striped Amber Jack \u2018prepared in a Mediterranean manner.\u2019<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes\">  <\/span>A substantial portion of high quality ceviche-style fish paired with unseasonably bold tomatoes and an array of microgreens with a mild dusting of salt and black pepper the course was dazzling both visually and texturally \u2013 an appropriately delicate way to begin the meal.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\" class=\"MsoNoSpacing\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri;\"><\/span> <\/p>\n<p style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\" class=\"MsoNoSpacing\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/-64XHoKVXWmY\/TYIXndGUdOI\/AAAAAAAAIVU\/OIAKQtgOLUE\/s1600\/029%2B-%2BBouley%2B%252819%2529.JPG\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"WIDTH: 320px; plus what would come next was every bit worth the wait.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes\">  <\/span>Described as a \u201cgift\u201d from Chef Bouley \u2013 a gift I saw no other table receive \u2013 Sea Urchin Terrine with Golden Osetra Caviar and Vodka Cr\u00e8me Fraiche would prove to be quite present indeed.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes\">  <\/span>Served as two fresh tongues of uni \u2013 one raw and the other encased in a gelatin block tasting like the essence of the sea the dish was anchored in a bitter yet tangy cream amplified by small dots of briny caviar and basil oil.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes\">  <\/span>While admittedly homogenous in texture, the flavor of the dish was anything but \u2013 at times sweet and at others savory it was just a beautifully executed composition.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\" class=\"MsoNoSpacing\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri;\"><\/span> <\/p>\n<p style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\" class=\"MsoNoSpacing\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/-ZTZlA55b7is\/TYIXnkfGW4I\/AAAAAAAAIVc\/c-8ZsYLoLAc\/s1600\/029%2B-%2BBouley%2B%252821%2529.JPG\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"WIDTH: 320px; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand\" id=\"BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5585052456469289858\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/-ZTZlA55b7is\/TYIXnkfGW4I\/AAAAAAAAIVc\/c-8ZsYLoLAc\/s320\/029%2B-%2BBouley%2B%252821%2529.JPG\" \/><\/noscript><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\" class=\"MsoNoSpacing\">\n<p style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\" class=\"MsoNoSpacing\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri;\">With little delay following my wowed response to the terrine, the next dish to emerge from the kitchen was another gift \u2013 this time Sauteed John Dory with sweet peas, celery root puree, and black Truffle Sauce.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes\">  <\/span>Featuring my favorite fish there was little chance for this dish to fail, though I must note it was not as impressive as the uni.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes\">  <\/span>Flaky and sweet the <st1:city st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">St Pierre<\/st1:place><\/st1:City> itself was quite tasty \u2013 clearly saut\u00e9ed in butter and all the better for it.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes\">  <\/span>Where the dish missed for me, however, was actually the black truffle sauce which although good was so potent with the nose of truffle that it overwhelmed the delicate fish and celery root.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\" class=\"MsoNoSpacing\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri;\"><\/span> <\/p>\n<p style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\" class=\"MsoNoSpacing\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/-cvZsSLmvqwo\/TYIXn6LlDiI\/AAAAAAAAIVk\/CNyRVB8Cjxk\/s1600\/029%2B-%2BBouley%2B%252825%2529.JPG\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"WIDTH: 320px; <st1:place st=\"on\"><st1:city st=\"on\">Porcini Flan<\/st1:City>, <st1:state st=\"on\">Alaska<\/st1:State><\/st1:place> Live Dungeness Crab, Black Truffle Dashi.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes\">  <\/span>Served in a small dish and uncovered tableside with a bit of steam and plenty of earthy aromatics greeting the nose the first thing to note about the dish is that it tastes much better than it looks.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes\">  <\/span>Clearly Asian in influence the heady dashi dotted with large chunks of crab is lovely \u2013 it makes the dish despite getting second billing in the title.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes\">  <\/span>Digging deeper, to the bottom, the creamy custard greets the palate with earthy tones \u2013 a sort of balance to the savoriness above \u2013 and when mixed thoroughly the amalgam simply \u201cworks.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\" class=\"MsoNoSpacing\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri;\"><\/span> <\/p>\n<p style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\" class=\"MsoNoSpacing\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/-sy5YDOGj7nI\/TYIZF-cNdcI\/AAAAAAAAIVs\/uYpWk9-Ms_w\/s1600\/029%2B-%2BBouley%2B%252828%2529.JPG\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"WIDTH: 320px; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand\" id=\"BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5585054078344197570\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/-sy5YDOGj7nI\/TYIZF-cNdcI\/AAAAAAAAIVs\/uYpWk9-Ms_w\/s320\/029%2B-%2BBouley%2B%252828%2529.JPG\" \/><\/noscript><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\" class=\"MsoNoSpacing\">\n<p style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\" class=\"MsoNoSpacing\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri;\">The followup to the flan was ordered a la carte in addition to the prix fixe \u2013 though I will admit it did not appear on my bill at the end of the afternoon.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes\">  <\/span>Never one to pass up an egg dish or polenta the Organic Connecticut Farm Egg, Serrano Ham, Steamed Polenta, Artichoke, Sunchoke, Coconut Garlic Broth dish was an obvious choice and perhaps my favorite course of the meal.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes\">  <\/span>With the cured ham actually served in four strips cupping the egg the breakfasty aspect of the dish was spot on and melded nicely with the substantially buttery polenta.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes\">  <\/span>Adding nuance, crispy artichoke and shaved parmesan plus one of the most unique \u201cbroths\u201d I\u2019ve ever experienced \u2013 on one hand milky and sweet but on the other potent with garlic.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\" class=\"MsoNoSpacing\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri;\"><\/span> <\/p>\n<p style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\" class=\"MsoNoSpacing\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/-xYmVCaxEOMM\/TYIZGT_LzyI\/AAAAAAAAIV0\/Ndn2d7-O78U\/s1600\/029%2B-%2BBouley%2B%252831%2529.JPG\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"WIDTH: 320px; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand\" id=\"BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5585054088236704146\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/-vKXqbUoXwX4\/TYIZGjSxIZI\/AAAAAAAAIV8\/jfQNInh_u94\/s320\/029%2B-%2BBouley%2B%252834%2529.JPG\" \/><\/noscript><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\" class=\"MsoNoSpacing\">\n<p style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\" class=\"MsoNoSpacing\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri;\">When Marcellin arrived to collect my empty plate and asked how it was I merely pointed \u2013 I\u2019d admittedly wiped it clean with some miche.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes\">  <\/span>With a smile he said \u201cgood, the chef is making up something special for you to try\u201d and true to his word the next dish was another gift \u2013 another egg.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes\">  <\/span>Presented on a similar plate to the first, Scrambled Connecticut Farm Egg, Black truffle, Mascarpone, and Comte was not nearly as complicated as its predecessor, but was every bit as good.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes\">  <\/span>With the egg itself whipped with black truffles and mascarpone to form an aromatic cloud of flavor, the dish was topped tableside with grated 24 month aged compte \u2013 a decidedly luxurious touch.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\" class=\"MsoNoSpacing\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri;\"><\/span> <\/p>\n<p style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\" class=\"MsoNoSpacing\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/-uVpV9INBfh8\/TYIZHAId10I\/AAAAAAAAIWE\/LtG-dSJEjcM\/s1600\/029%2B-%2BBouley%2B%252835%2529.JPG\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"WIDTH: 320px; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand\" id=\"BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5585054095978125122\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/-uVpV9INBfh8\/TYIZHAId10I\/AAAAAAAAIWE\/LtG-dSJEjcM\/s320\/029%2B-%2BBouley%2B%252835%2529.JPG\" \/><\/noscript><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\" class=\"MsoNoSpacing\">\n<p style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\" class=\"MsoNoSpacing\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri;\">Once again returning to the prix fixe \u2013 course three (or eight counting the amuse \u2013 but who is counting, right) was Organic Long Island Duck Roasted with White Truffle Honey, Vermont Chanterelles, Pencil Asparagus, Porcini Puree and a side of buttered pommes puree.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes\">  <\/span>Beginning with the mashed potatoes \u2013 they aren\u2019t Robuchon \u2013 a tad more texture \u2013 but they aren\u2019t too far off.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes\">  <\/span>Moving on to the duck \u2013 rosy on the inside and bronzed on the exterior the flavor was quite excellent \u2013 sweet and supple, but unfortunately not fatty or crispy enough on the exterior to rival the fowl at Eleven Madison Park or Corton.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes\">  <\/span>Certainly a competent dish and again impressive in portion I\u2019ll note the accompanying vegetables and fungi were quite nicely prepared \u2013 tender and flavorful, nicely paired with the earthy mushroom sauce and sweet foam.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\" class=\"MsoNoSpacing\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri;\"><\/span> <\/p>\n<p style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\" class=\"MsoNoSpacing\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/-MPViTL73Oks\/TYIZHRZO3YI\/AAAAAAAAIWM\/csiCBPUjjCQ\/s1600\/029%2B-%2BBouley%2B%252839%2529.JPG\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"WIDTH: 320px; HEIGHT: 240px; CURSOR: hand\" id=\"BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5585054703942591266\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/-_v73760i13Q\/TYIZqY-fYyI\/AAAAAAAAIWU\/xQvwPAA4oUM\/s320\/029%2B-%2BBouley%2B%252840%2529.JPG\" \/><\/noscript><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\" class=\"MsoNoSpacing\">\n<p style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\" class=\"MsoNoSpacing\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri;\">Rather full at this point the next course would be the only fixed option on the prix fixe \u2013 a transition from the savory to the sweet in the form of Chilled Coconut Soup with Pineapple Granite and Organic Yogurt Sorbet.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes\">  <\/span>Interestingly tasty and tropical much like the palate cleansers at Eleven Madison Park and Corton the day before I actually enjoyed this dish better than either of them \u2013 the pineapple was exceedingly sweet and juicy, the coconut quite restrained, and the sorbet tangy and smooth.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes\">  <\/span>With the added crunch of crumbled macadamia nuts this dish was more <st1:state st=\"on\">Hawaii<\/st1:State> than <st1:place st=\"on\"><st1:state st=\"on\">New York<\/st1:State><\/st1:place> and more summer than February, but it was also delicious and light.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\" class=\"MsoNoSpacing\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri;\"><\/span> <\/p>\n<p style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\" class=\"MsoNoSpacing\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/-fRa6kbcPm3Y\/TYIZq1oPukI\/AAAAAAAAIWc\/j0izjhI9G8E\/s1600\/029%2B-%2BBouley%2B%252842%2529.JPG\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"WIDTH: 320px;
