Always happy to #supportlocal with an office favorite, CRAFTkitchen once again catered lunch on Wednesday, Chef Blinn predictably arriving early with all the necessary items and this time presenting attendees with an Italian spread featuring both classics and novelties.
By no means a “one note” Restaurant, routinely switching up a meu rooted in Omelets, Bennys and more, it was around 11:20am that Jaret arrived porting several trays and bowls all maintained at appropriate temperatures, dueling Salads starting things off with a loaded Italian Chopped and summery Panzanella featuring heirloom Organic Grape Tomatoes plus marinated Bread that is, of course, homemade.
Always well-portioned and fair-priced, a group of twenty-five getting their fill with plenty of leftovers packed to-go, it was continuing with Sliders that employees praised both Vegetarian-friendly Caprese and crispy Chicken Parm, Marinara on the side preventing Buns from getting soggy in transit.
Adding two piping-hot orders of Lasagna, slowly-simmered Meat Sauce ample in flavor and mellowed by Ricotta, it was after an extra-large corner that attention turned to Desserts including silky Panna Cotta versus Pudding, plus a bonus round of Purple Potato Bread steamy, moist and begging to be topped in young Coconut Sauce.
N/A: Making it blog policy to not ‘rate’ places based on catering alone CRAFTkitchen has always gone the extra mile to assure off-site dining is every bit as delicious as inside the Restaurant on South Eastern, and no matter what Chef Blinn chooses to cook the results are always delicious, well-priced and timely.
RECOMMENDED: Panzanella Salad, Chicken Parmesan Sliders, Bolognese Lasagna, Butterscotch Budino, Ube Bread Pudding.
AVOID: N/A.
TIP: See the website for sample catering items or contact the Restaurant directly with a budget and let Jaret and Tami do what they do best.
