Opened in September 2020, the strip-mall storefront twenty yards from In-N-Out Burger undoubtedly a gutsy choice, it is once inside that diners will encounter pleasant staff who work diligently with menus both overhead and handheld offering a bevy of choices.
Advertising everything to be fresh and never frozen, the eponymous Bird an obvious choice whether straight from the Bone or as a juicy Kabob, most plates arrive with fragrant Rice, crisp Salad and warm Pita ready to be slathered in either Tzatziki or Hummus.
Also offering sliced-to-serve Gyro, 1/4lb of fragrant Meat plus Fries, Salad and Pita for just $13.95, those seeking something handheld may instead opt for a $7.85 Sandwich that is more than enough to provide an ample lunch for most.
Just $3.15 for sides, expertly-prepared Fried Zucchini competing for the spotlight with medium-thick Onion Rings served alongside Ranch, a few unexpected choices include three Filets of Beer Battered Fish for $10.95 atop a big pile of Fries and the certified Angus Cheeseburger available for $6.25 as a quarter pounder.
A bit pricey for Baklava, though at $3.65 per triangle the quality is good for Las Vegas, Greek Chicken also offers Ice Cream Cones, Sundaes or Shakes including very convincing Butterscotch and Pineapple so thick it requires a spoon.
FOUR AND A HALF STARS: Modern but homey, also with a drive-thru, Greek Chicken’s menu casts a wide net but executes very well with standouts including never-frozen Chicken served whole or as Kabobs, fragrant Gyros and an excellent Burger plus Fish & Chips that outperform the modest price-point.
RECOMMENDED: Gyro Plate, Whole Greek Style Chicken, Fried Zucchini, Onion Rings, Beer Battered Fish, 1/2lb Angus Cheeseburger, Pineapple Shake, Butterscotch Shake.
