Per Google, the Galette des Rois is a Cake traditionally shared on January 6th in celebration of the arrival of the Three Wise Men in Bethlehem, but on 1/6/2018 the “sharing” part was ignored as Jonathan Pluvinet’s ground Almond King Cake was consumed for Breakfast, after lunch and post-dinner, the shattering layers of Puff Pastry and lightly-sweetened Filling not dissimilar to Rosallie’s reference-quality Almond Croissant, though the requirement is apparently now to make one next year as consuming the whole thing guaranteed finding the fève hidden inside.
