Less well known than Sao Paulo’s ubiquitous Bacio di Latte, Davvero Gelato Tradizionale brings classic Italian technique and flavors plus a few local additions to Brazil.
Originally opened in 2016, and subsequently expanding across four locations including a small outpost on the ground floor of Shopping Iguatemi, it is from 10h00 until 22h00 daily that Davvero offers products made from Organic Milk, Fruit and Cocoa – the addition of liquid Chocolate to each Sugar Cone an added bonus.
Fast paced and fairly priced, locations outside a mall Food Court likely less busy, it is following Samples that decision time arrives, the Crème Brulee undoubtedly tough to pass up with its shattering shards of Sugar but Dulce de Leche and sticky Tapioca nonetheless winning out thanks to their distinct yet complimentary textures.
