Owned by Chef Ramon Velazquez, a native of Guadalajara who began cooking with his grandmother and mother at a very young age, Little Heart Cafecito is the sister eatery of Michelin Bib Gourmand recipient Corazón Cocina.
Little more than a stall adjacent the flagship, a few savory items plus several types of Coffee, Little Heart plies its trade in Dulce including the thick Orange Flan and sopping wet Tres Leches also offered at Corazón.
Open from 8am until 8pm daily, fresh-baked Breads typically sold out early, dinner guests need not fear as Little Heart’s selection is well-culled and faultless whether one chooses Rice Pudding beneath confit Pineapple, a loaded Cowboy Cookie or additional seasonal Cake slices flavored by Pumpkin Puree or Almond Milk and Cinnamon.
