Focused on local meats and produce from their own 3.5 acre culinary garden at the St. Helena Montessori School The Charter Oak comes from Chef Christopher Kostow of The Restaurant at Meadowood.
Toqued by Eddie Lee, whose tutelage includes Daniel Humm and Lee Wolen, this is a Restaurant with an eye towards sustainability, but unlike many others that concept yields big flavors in an unpretentious family atmosphere.
Dish for dish and dollar for dollar a far better experience than at the Michelin 3 star flagship before it shuttered, particularly as relates to the famous Burger and housemade Bread with carefully cultured Butter.
