Pasticceria Regoli

Cannoli Siciliani

Maritozzaro con Panna

Baba au Rum

Aragosta con Panna e Zabaion

Since 1916 Pasticceria Regoli has been home to Italian tradition, and at the street level storefront on via dello Statuto in Esquilino locals and tourists can be found lining up from Wednesday through Monday for Pastries from a diverse collection.

A presence in The Eternal City for more than a century, each and every product fabricated on-site from local and natural ingredients, it once inside the narrow space that guests must try to focus on which items look best, a Sicilian focus featuring Cannoli that are unfortunately pre-filled but still mostly-crisp alongside Rome’s famous Maritozzo here called “Maritozzaro” and topped generously with unsweetened Panna.

Offering outdoor seating along cobblestoned streets, and prices comparable to other Roman Bakeries, additional items sampled included a Baba au Rum that comes across a little less wispy than those sold in Naples while the Lobster Tail was flaky and delicious around boozy Egg Custard.
