Soon celebrating three years serving Sin City it was on the strength of prior office lunches that The Coffee Class was called on to cater Monday, and just like last four times Kyle Cunningham’s concept showed off its ability to please diners of varying backgrounds, ages and preferences including allergies or intolerances.
Coordinated and delivered by Chef Beth Ryan-Small it was on time that an abundance of trays were arranged, Beth’s newest Poptarts immediately commanding attention thanks to Raspberry Cream Cheese or Mexican Chocolate at first assertive with Cinnamon before spice dissipated into sweetness.
Next taking a look at two types of Scones including a reference-standard Orange version with Butter and Blueberries, those eschewing Animal-products will be happy to know The Coffee Class offers excellent Salads as well as Avocado Toast with or without Bacon.
Continuing on with Sandwiches, a dozen pressed-Paninis with Turkey, Bacon and Avocado gone fast, Puff Pastry stuffed with Chicken, Gruyere and roasted Vegetables also made fans thanks to complex flavors inside a light and delicate package.
Not forgetting destination-worthy French Toast with Crème Brulee thoroughly saturating buttery Brioche it was without Biscuits this time that extra space was afforded to equally noteworthy Triple Chocolate Chip Cookies that justify a trip across town.
N/A: Making it blog policy to not ‘rate’ places based on catering alone, this lunch from The Coffee Class was unequivocally successful from Ingredients and presentation to cost and timeliness – exactly as one would hope from what might just be the city’s best under-the-radar experience.
